About Me
2020zoom? Let me explain
I've never enjoyed doing anything where you reach a comfortable plateau: if something doesn't represent a constant series of perpetually changing challenges, I'm not interested in pursuing it.
Motor sport photography's the toughest thing I've ever tackled but because of that, I love it. The fact that its populated by some of the most colourful, fascinating characters I've ever rubbed shoulders with and the venues where I work are stunning just adds to the whole experience.
Deadlines? There's nothing like getting up early and having to rattle off a report from the previous day's meeting to get your pulse pumping. Editors are cool people to deal with: just don't keep them waiting for your copy and your images or they'll strike you off their Christmas card list in a heartbeat.
I compile a regular column of Shelsley Walsh reports and photos for the Worcester Standard and I've also had my work featured in The Shropshire Star, the Stroud News And Journal and numerous club magazines.
The hill climb venues really do have gorgeous settings but I've also been fortunate to have grid-walked at Donington Park and Silverstone as well as lensing at the Le Mans 24-Hour race.
